At a glitter launch today, Virat Kohli was announced as the brand ambassador of famous Swiss watch brand, Tissot. A dapper looking Kohli expressed his happiness at being chosen as the face to represent the watch.

Speaking on the occasion, Partha Datta Gupta said, “Tissot is also committed to respect core values. It aims at maintaining performance, precision and setting new standards. Hence it’s association with sports is an apt one.”

Drawing paralles with cricket, Partha said, “Tissot was founded in 1853 while the first test match was played between England and Australia in 1877. Bowling was earlier under arm till it became overarm and Tissot too has evolved over the years.”
