Celebrity trainer Prashant Sawant launches gym in Khar
Celebrity trainer Prashant Sawant who is known to have trained Shahrukh Khan for the past 20 years launched his second gym amidst much fanfare. Prashant’s wife Maya Pereira Sawant also launched her organic food company Lean Kitchen.
From Varun Dhawan, the gorgeous Sunny Leone, her husband Daniel Weber, Karthik Aaryan, Sonal Chauhan, Vatsal Sheth, singer Armaan Malik, Dabboo Ratnani and television celebrities like Hiten and Gauri Trivedi, the launch was graced by the who’s who of the industry.
Located in Khar, the gym boasts of state of the art facilities and equipment. Commenting on the same, Prashant Sawant said, “I came to Mumbai at the humble age of seventeen. From being overweight to training people in fitness, it has been a long and fruitful journey. This gym has been a dream come true. I already have a gym set up but I wanted to expand and include more facilities for my clientele.”
Lean kitchen is about organic gourmet food tailor made for all the fitness conscious individuals. Maya Pereira Sawant said’ “Lean kitchen is more than a feeling.. It’s a way of life. I have given a part of me to help people become fit. It’s about healthy food without compromising on health.”
Varun Dhawan further added, “I have trained under Prashant for a while now. Whenever Prashant was busy, it was his wife Maya who stepped in. Both are the best fitness experts we have today in our country and I wish them all the success and happiness.”
