Mrs Delhi NCR 2017 finalist Poonam Walia Thakur talks about her journey

Since my childhood I always want to be a model. Fashion has always been my passion. I always have this desire of looking  different from others.

Mrs Delhi NCR happened after I read about it on Facebook and I registered immediately. I wanted to discover a new side of my life and fulfill my dreams.

While in college, I give interview for air hostess training in Frankfinn because at that time I thought it would give me a chance to enter Bollywood as I had heard many actresses were air hostess earlier.  But my family didn’t allow me to do so and stars were not in my favour at that time. So I give up and we have no money to spend all other things so.

Mrs. Delhi was one of best time and phase of my life. I have learnt so many things and gained much more experience.

I was on a training period for 3 days. We had many sessions. In the finale, there were 3 rounds with 3 designer wears. I loved the catwalk training and grooming.

My husband is one of the best person in this whole world for me. He is very supportive and always there for me whenever I feel low. He is the one who encourages me when I was very tensed on the day of the finals. He believes in me and my dreams.

Now I want to be Mrs world and prove myself there.
