She is the perfect epitome of beauty with brains. Hailing from the beautiful land of Kashmir, Arjumman made her debut with Vishesh film’s, Ya Rab for which she won huge critical acclaim.
Ya Rab, directed by Hasnain Hyderabadwala (Who made Vishesh Films’ Emraan Hashmi starrer The Killer, has Mahesh Bhatt supporting it throughout. The film produced under the banner of True Film by Hoori Ali and Mohsin Ali Khan deals with Islam and terrorism. “It is a film which passes the message that all Muslims are not terrorists and I am glad to be a part of such a film. It’s interesting how I got roped in too. It was all thanks to the writer of the film that I got called in for the audition. They wanted a girl who could speak Urdu and Arbi as my role requires me to cite verses from Quran too. I have studied Urdu till 9th hence it was like a perfect match,” said Arjumman remembering her critically acclaimed performance
