Salman Khan thrills fans with his Race 3 Trailer

One of the most awaited films of the year, Salman Khan’s Race 3, Directed by Remo D’Souza had its first trailer for the film released by Salman Khan on Tuesday at an event in Mumbai. The Trailer launch of Race 3 was a star studded affair. The entire cast of the 3D action film was present but the center of attraction was Salman Khan. The third installment of the franchise also stars Anil Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Bobby Deol, Daisy Shah, Saqib Saleem and Freddie Daruwala in the lead roles. The action thriller will hit the screens on June 15 as has been the norm in recent years. Bhai looks to capitalise on his popularity this Eid with Race 3 which packs a punch with choppers, speeding cars, fast-paced action and Salman’s swag.
Salman had been teasing fans about the trailer via his Twitter profile for days. The trailer was subsequently shared online and met with the usual welcome from fans. Right from the word go, Salman Khan towers over the rest of the cast and fans who have been waiting for seeing their favourite star get a generous doze of the standard Bhai fare while watching the 3-minute long clip. We can say there was a lot for die-hard Salman fans to cheer about .
During the trailer launch, Salman revealed that he hadn’t seen the first two films of the Race franchise, which is of a different genre that what he usually does. He also stated that the script was changed and a bit of ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun’ was added. He described the movie as “It is a Musical Bonanza, the kind of movie Mr. Bachchan and Dharamji used to do. Big Music and action that you watch, enjoy and go home.” Salman left the audience in splits on numerous occasions with his witty remarks. He also kept praising his co-stars over their work in the film.
Going by the rushes Salman, seems to be in top form, be it the action sequences or dialogue delivery or just throwing his simmering glance at the camera. Mouthing dialogues like “This is a race for life, it will end only after taking someone’s life,” Salman is seen handling all kinds of weapons in the video. One shot that especially stays back in your mind is towards the end where Salman is walking with a rocket launcher/bazooka.
We can surmise from the trailer that Salman’s Race 3 is also going to revolve around family ties and betrayals like the previous two films. While the trailer starts with Salman saying, “He can do anything for his family,” it ends with him probably waging a war against those very people. Well we will have to wait for the movie to release to see how it ends for everyone who stand in Bhai’s path.
