Girdhar Swami talks about casting for Andhadhun

Casting director Girdhar Swami who has cast for Andhadhun reveals that it was quite a tough task to get the right characters to play important roles in this Ayushmann Khurrana starrer film.

“It is a beautiful film with a nice strong message. All the supporting actors and actresses in the film have been cast by me. I had a clear brief of getting in good actors to suit roles of various age groups in the film. Accordingly I auditioned a lot of actors. It was a challenging process as we had to find the right mix of different actors of different age groups. Finally I finalised the right ones for the makers to take a call and all of them were finalised,” said Girdhar.

Girdhar is now looking forward to seeing his actor’s performance on screen when the film releases. He is also meanwhile busy casting for other feature films, webseries and short films. Here’s his body of work on IMDB
