Pihu’s Special Screening in Delhi for the Politicos
The special screening of the film Pihu, was held yesterday in Delhi. Many big names came to the screening.
Dr. Harsh Vardhan (Environment, Science and Technology Minster), Rajeev Shukla (IPL commissioner & Congress Leader), Mr Manoj Tiwari (BJP MP), Mr Kumar Vishwash (Poet & Former AAP leader),Mr Navin Jindal ,Mr Amar Singh, Mr Harish Rawat (Former CM Uttarakhand) Mr Siddharth Roy Kapur (Producer) & Director Mr Vinod Kapri are some of the great personalities that were present at the event.
Dr. Harsh Vardhan (Environment, Science and Technology Minster) shares, “Words are not enough to describe this film. It is an extraordinary film with a brilliant performance by a 2 year old. For me, it is already a Superhit.”
After watching the film Mr Kumar Vishwash (Poet & Former AAP leader) said, “Vinod Kapri has done an incredible job with a 2 year old. I am happy to see people like Vinod who are capable of making a story out of a real event. Especially when people are more influenced by the big banners, a film like this with only one character that to a child is very unique. I congratulate Mr Siddhart Roy Kapur and Vinod Kapri for this film.”
Sharing his experience after the film Rajiv Shukla (IPL commissioner & Congress Leader) says, “I was not expecting that this film will be such a shocker; it takes time for you to absorb the incidents happening in the film. The girl has done a fantastic job and it is worth showing on an international platform.”
Elated by the responses Director Vinod Kapri shares, “For me, every story should have a message to convey. Pihu is a story of every household and this was a very important story to tell. The most difficult part was to bring this story to the audience and I thank Mr Siddharth R K and Mr Ronnie S for supporting me and my film. People who love their family should go a watch this film.”
Producer Mr Siddharth Roy Kapur shares, “When we saw it for the first time, we were blown away completely. It is such a unique idea that Mr Vinod Kapri made a whole film with 2 year old child. He has kept it so gripping, so edge of the seat, it’s like a thriller but a very emotional film at the same time and I think our audience will find it a very unique experience. I am happy to be associated with the production now. Ronnie Screwvala and I both watched it and decided that this is something we would definitely have to back.”
Pihu’s trailer has been appreciated by people across the globe by reaching over 7.5 million views. Pihu is a thriller about 2 years old girl trapped in an apartment alone. It is one of a kind in every aspect as it is the only film in the history of cinema to have just one character throughout, played by a 2 year old child. It is a gripping thriller and will have audiences on the edge of their seats till the last frame.
Pihu is directed by national award winning film maker Vinod Kapri, produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur under their banners RSVP and Roy Kapur Films respectively.The film is slated to release on 16th November 2018.
