Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif goes on floors today

Rohit Shetty starts shooting his next magnum opus ‘Sooryavanshi’ in Mumbai today. Akshay Kumar plays the lead role of Veer Sooryavanshi, a cop ; whereas Bollywood star Katrina Kaif has been roped in to play his leading lady. Actor Neena Gupta will be playing the role of Veer Sooryavanshi’s mother .

This is Rohit Shetty’s fourth cop film after blockbusters Simmba and Singham series.
