Filmfare magazine Editor,Jitesh Pillai heavily slammed for mocking television actor Hina Khan’s debut at Cannes.

Indian television actor Hina Khan makes a very glamorous Festival De Cannes debut. Television actors have poured in praises and comments on Hina’s Instagram photos from the Cannes red carpet, few even including the credibility behind her presence at such a prestigious festival. However, though like mentioned earlier her peers from the industry eulogized her for her OOTD , Filmfare magazine editor Mr. Jitesh Pillai took to Instagram to mock Hina Khan of her recent achievement. Mr. Pillai captioned one of Hinas photo at Cannes like this : “Cannes has suddenly become Chandivali studio kya ? ”

Needless to say, all hell broke loose . If you think Hina Khan was at peak of her fame while she was an inmate at Bigg Boss season 11,wait till you see the backlash the Filmfare magazine  editor has been getting for his act of mocking ,from other television actors like Arjun Bijlani and even from Kangana Ranaut’s sister Rangoli Chandel who claimed that Jitesh Pillai did this deliberately because Hina Khan is an outsider and reached wherever she is on her own. Even natives from Chandivali in Mumbai have taken offence for Jitesh Pillai’s way of expression.

Scores and scores of Khan’s fans and  colleagues have come forward in her support and has got Mr. Pillai heavily trolled for the instagram story he put up. Many were of the opinion that as an editor of such a famed magazine Jitesh Pillai should not have mocked Hina Khan and indirectly question her credibility as the actor first shot to fame in the popular Hindi soap opera ” Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlaata Hai ” and further peaked due to her infamous equation with her former Bigg Boss 11 inmate Shweta Tiwari. The actor is currently enjoying her spotlight by playing the role of one of Indian television’s favorite villainess Komolika on ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2″,  a role which was originally first brought to life by actor Urvashi Dholakia in its first run.

What do you think about the Filmfare editor’s act?
