Youtube sensation Shirley Shetia makes her Bollywood debut with a party number Disco Disco

Shirley Setia known for her music videos on Youtube, has a subscriber base of 3.1 million.
The 26 year old is an Indian singer from Auckland, Newzealand.

Shirley had participated in a contest held by t-series. She uploaded a video with her pyjamas which earned her the nickname of ‘Pyjama Popstar.’ Out of thousands of entries, she was declared one of the winners. Back in the days, she juggled between being a Rj and a student and went on to create music related content on youtube.
She has collaborated with international YouTube artists be it from the Uk, US or Canada.

After making a mark on social media. Shirley Setia, moved to Mumbai city to make it big in the bollywood industry.
She made her debut with a party song Disco Disco in Jacqueline Fernandes and Siddharth Malhotra starrer- A Gentleman.

Shirley had earlier expressed her joy with the fans live. This is what she said, “My debut bollywood song is going to release in two days. I’m so excited. I feel so lucky, I feel so thankful especially Sachin-Jigar for believing in me and believing that i could do the song. Thanks to you guys for supporting and loving me unconditionally. Being with me through ny good and bad days. I’m excited for Disco Disco, I hope you all like it. I have put in lot of effort and soul into it. It’s different then what I usually sing mainly of romantic genre,but this is different.”
