Vijay Deverakonda rejects Kjo’s 40cr offer for the remake of ‘Dear Comrade’

South Superstar, the Arjun Reddy fame Vijay Deverakonda is in news as he rejected Karan Johar’s offer of starring in the Hindi-remake of ‘Dear Comrade’. Kjo recently bought the rights for the remake.

‘Dear Comrade’ is orginally a telegu action drama film directed by Bharat Kamma, featuring Vijay Deverakonda and actress Rashmika Mandanna as the lead actors. This movie was released this year on 26th of july. It garned mixed respone at the BO.

While inspired by it KJo announced a remake. However Actor Vijay is not interested in playing the same role twice. According to Mumbai Mirror, Karan Johar bought films rights for 6 crore and then offered 40 crore to Vijay Deverakonda. He declined the offer despite such a huge amount.
