Badhaai Ho sequel on the way after recieving National award!

Recently Badhaai Ho won the title of the Best Popular Film at 66th National Film Festival award 2018. It was one of the biggest hits of that year. The film directed by Amit Sharma starred Ayushmann Khurrana, Neena Gupta, Gajraj Rao, Sanya Malhotra and Surekha Sikri.
Surekha Sikri has been awarded the Best Supporting Actress for her role in the film.

Story starts with middle-class-middle-aged couple gets unexpected good news of unexpected pregnancy and how with the time, unexpected good news becomes acceptable by all characters specially grown up adult kids in the family and what all they go through with their respective friends, neighbors, relatives, office colleagues as everyone has a peculiar reaction.

As per reports by Mumbai Mirror Second instalment of the film is on the way and will be titled as Badhaai Ho 2 and it’s going to be entertaining just like the original film. Will have ensemble cast as well.

According to the source close to the tabliod, “The script has been locked, and the makers are on the lookout to finalise on tbe cast.” they further added, “The second installment will revovle around the shenanigans of a joint family and two young couples. It will take off next year.”

The film garning great success is all set to be remade in Tamil, Malayalam, Telegu and Kannada.
