Kiara Advani’s last film Kabir Singh was a blockbuster hit. The actress who was earlier in her career  rejected by many directors today feels she is getting proper validation in the industry. In an interview, Kiara told us that she is finally doing the kind of films she is really excited to do. “I feel excited to go to work and learn and it is making me more hungry to do better,”said Kiara.
Kiara today finds it motivating when directors from the industry call to talk to her about her performance. “There were days when I wanted to be busy and I hadn’t got those opportunities because I wasn’t signing so many films back then.”
Kiara however feels glad that she didn’t give up and she went to chase her dream. For Kiara, the moral of the story is ‘Don’t give up ever.’
In her upcoming film, she is paired opposite Diljit Dosanjh. Talking about Diljit’s calm and composed nature, Kiara said, “He is the same on set. He is calm and composed. He is extremely reserved and soft spoken and a very respectful person. He is a wonderful grounded human being. In front of the camera he is a live wire who just translates and lights up the screen.
Sharing some fun experiences she enjoyed on the sets of Good Newwz, Kiara said, “We used to start shooting at 9 in the morning and pack up by lunch time.  We didn’t realize how quickly we finished shooting for the film while enjoying ourselves thoroughly. Also, everyone was so excited to come on set and work because the script itself was so exciting that we used to look forward to coming and doing the scene. We used to look forward to doing each and every scene. Diljit himself is a Punjabi. He is from Chandigarh and he is so fluent in the language. So for me it was a big help to have someone like him who would help me get to the character of Monica better. Sometimes when he would compliment me I would feel like since he has said it means I’ve done something right today. It was really fun and I was learning so much.”
