Katrina Kaif lends her support for Picture Pathshala

Picture Pathshala hosted an event at PVR Juhu on the 28th of January 2020 at 1:30 pm to thank ‘Being Human Foundation’ and ‘Book A Smile’ for contributing to their cause and supporting them.

Picture Pathshala is an organization that supports ‘Children cinema for change’. They contribute in making films by kids for kids on issues concerning them, along with solutions to those problems given by the kids as well. Some of their best films that were also screened at the event include ‘Batata’ based on unemployment in villages, ‘Beti’ on girl child education, ‘The photograph’ which was screened at Miami film festival and ‘Tingraan ro jhod’ based in Raisar, Bikaner.

Present at the event were Sohail Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Salim Khan and Sunil Grover. Katrina Kaif showed up a tad late but her presence lifted everyone’s spirit and turned the event into a lively affair. She interacted with kids who were presebt at the event and many of whom had acted in short films. The Bharat actress was also sweet enough to click  pictures with kids and the whole team.

Brothers Sohail and Arbaaz presented awards to the film makers of the projects and Sunil Grover talked to the kids and couldn’t help himself from doing a Salman Khan impersonation that made everyone erupt into peals of laughter.

Katrina was quite inquisitive and ended up asking many questions. Out of the several discussions they had, one of the most curious questions Katrina asked was about picture pathshala and the idea behind it. Her query was met with an an elaborate response.

Meanwhile Picture pathshala is all set to announce its new projects in the coming months.
