When Aditya Roy Kapur and Anil Kapoor spoke about ‘Kissing’ scenes in Malang

The trailer of ‘Malang’ launched on 6th January was a star studded affair. The entire cast of Malang incuding Disha Patani,Aditya Roy Kapur,Anil Kapoor,Amruta Khanvilkar,Elli AvRam along with the makers of film Mohit Suri,Luv Ranjan,Ankur Garg,Bhushan Kumar attended it.
The trailer showed the three main actors, Disha Patani, Aditya Roy Kapur and Anil Kapoor holding different perspectives on ‘killing’ that has managed to arouse the curiosity among audience.
The movie also has a few steamy scenes between the lead pair Disha and Aditya. However it was Anil Kapoor who fielded questions from the media about whether he missed doing bold scenes on screen today with actresses of the current generation.
To this the veteran actor replied, “Doing scenes such as diving, riding a bike in such a bold manner with an actress along as shown in the trailer, obviously makes me feel a desire to do such scenes. Working with the actors of this generation has really taught me a lot. Despite me being a villain in the film, I have got to learn and experience a lot with them.”
“I feel like doing scenes such as kissing, riding with these new generation actresses”, chortled Anil at his own reply.
Aditya Roy Kapur, on the other hand, expressed his happiness at being compared to the original kiss king Emraan Hashmi. When asked if he aspired to be Hashmi’s top competitor, Aditya said, “If I can follow Emraan sir’s footsteps, I’ll be very honoured. But I am happy that I am pushing the boundaries”.
Speaking about his kissing scenes, Aditya added, “Next time we have to come up with more creative kissing manner for such scenes. As of now inside the jacket, kissing while riding a bike and keeping your hand in between while kissing is good.”
For the moment, Malang trailer looks replete with adventure, romance and enthusiasm. With just a couple of days left for the film to release on 7th February, audience seem quite excited for this one. Let’s wait and see how it will perform at box-office.
