Pritam’s Love Aajkal 2 is packed with chart busters

The music of Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan starrer, Love Aaj kal 2, has multiple chartbusters and every song released till now whether its Shayad or Haan Main Galat or the latest Mehrama has record breaking views.

A combination of Imtiaz Ali and Pritam without a great romantic number cannot be complete. Shayad is the one song which makes you listen to it on loop. This song has more than 40 million views on YouTube also it was on trending at 1 when it released. The lyrics are not sprinkled with heavy words… but rather explains love and its addiction in the modern times.

Party song, Haan Main Galat which shows different shades of love is also sung by Arijit Singh & Shashwat Singh, which again occupied the top ranking with trending at number 2. The song became most Viewed Video on Youtube in past 24 Hours.

The latest song from the album, Mehrama, which released recently crossed 10 Million Views. The song is picturised on anguished lovers in the film, Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan, who have been seperated. With Mehrama Pritam brings back the magic of old-school love. The song is sung by Darshan Raval & Antara Mitra.

Love Aajkal 2 director Imtiaz Ali and Pritam have collaborated in the past for films such as Jab We Met and Love Aaj Kal, both of which had chart busters that have almost cult status.

Pritam’s Haan Main Galat sets a perfect example of how you can recreate a great song instead of only remixing it. Pritam who as a policy does not remix, tweeted about recreating his own composition, “Every film franchise takes something forward from its precedent.
