Sooryavanshi trailer launch: Akshay and Ajay want their fanclubs to stop fighting with each other

The trailer launch of the much awaited film, “Sooryavanshi” was held on 2nd March 2020 at PVR Icon, Infinity Mall, Andheri. The launch event was graced by the entire cast of Sooryavanshi including producer Karan Johar and director Rohit Shetty. Popular YouTuber, Ashish Chanchlani hosted the event.

Ajay Devgan was the first to be called on  stage to share his views about the trailer as it was Ajay with whom Rohit Shetty started the cop franchise. Sharing his views on Shetty’s cop universe, Ajay said, “I didn’t think it would grow to become such a massive franchise. At first I was amazed to see the response of women to an action movie with cops. Back then I thought that this franchise would grow but Rohit is taking it to greater heights.”

Next up it was the ever energetic Ranveer Singh who spoke his heart out about the trailer.  Singh lavished praise on Katrina Kaif for her outstanding performance and also said that he loved the trailer. “I’m very excited. I don’t know whether I’m excited to share screen space with my idols or whether it is the excitement of  working with Rohit Sir. I’m as excited as the audience.” Ranveer said that a trailer lets the audience know what experience they would get while watching a movie. Ranveer concluded by saying, “Ticket book karlo. Aa Rahi Hai Police.”

Ranveer’s speech was followed by the action king of Bollywood- Akshay Kumar. Akshay kickstarted his speech by saying that he had never witnessed such a large audience for a trailer launch. He said, “I would like to thank Rohit Sir for creating such a big film and I hope you all will like the movie.  Ajay is my dear friend. We started our careers together and today we have reached a juncture where we have done numerous movies together.”

Towards the end of the event, Ajay and Akshay conveyed a special message to their respective fan clubs. They said, “Lately we both have been talking to each other about the fact that our fanclubs fight a lot amongst each other. So we both request you to please end the fight with each other.  We both will always be together and continue to support and help each other.”

Sooryavanshi will release in theatres on March 24 this month.
