F.R.I.E.N.D.S REUNION : What more can we ask for in 2021!

Friends reunion!!! Yes its finally happening. The American sitcom show Friends aired in 1994 till 2001 lasting close to ten seasons. The Americans were introduced to six friends that is Ross, Rachel, Monica, Chandler, Phoebe and Joey who’s life’s are interdependent with each other with emotions, fun, fights and many more.
In 2020, David Schwimmer [aka Ross] revealed in a interview about reunion of friends and even the remaining cast posted about it officially on their Instagram. The reunion was supposed to be released by April 2020 but got postpone due to pandemic, and here it is final arrived.
The Friends reunion trailer was dropped amid much fanfare on 20th May. Everyone had a confusion earlier about what the reunion would actually be – Will it be a series or a movie? But wait for something better. They are going to be nostalgic about the friends earlier episodes and remember them, read them, discuss, cry and laugh and what not!!!!! In addition to the six friends a number of actors from the show will be appearing as guests in reunion. Maggie Wheeler (Janice) James Michael Tyler [Gunther] Elliott Gould and Christina Pickles (Jack and Judy Geller) Larry Hankin (Mr Heckles) Thomas Lennon (Joey’s hand-twin) Tom Selleck (Richard Burke] Reese Witherspoon (Jill Green). The guest list isn’t over yet as there are some superstars who will also appear like Justin Bieber, BTS ,Cindy Crawford, Cara Delevingne , Lady Gaga , Kit Harington , David Beckham, Malala Yousafzai and Mindy Kaling. As revealed in the trailer, we see playing a trivia game just like in the series while another sequence has them sitting in a round table and discussing some collective; episodes and sharing memories about it. Oh My God! [as Janice says] what a happy moment especially for Friends fans.
Friends have become one of the biggest sitcom shows of time. All episodes are currently streaming on Netflix and HBO max. It is going to be a nostalgic ride of emotion and fun as the amazing reunion of Friends will be streaming on HBO max on 27th may 2021. We wonder when we would get to officially watch it in India.
