Meet the charming & attractive banker model actress – Tejashree Meher

The first thing you notice in Tejashree Meher is her attractive striking personality. Standing 5 feet eight inches tall, Tejashree is a model, actress and dancer. Not to forget she is also a professional banker. Now that’s what we call multitalented. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywoodwallah, Tejashree speaks about her glam world interest and her upcoming beauty contest.

Many congratulations on being chosen to represent Maharashtra in Miss India Planet. How does it feel and how are you preparing?

My preparations are going well. I’m a banker by profession. So during the day I am busy with my job. Once I’m back home, I get busy preparing for the contest. I have been part of a few beauty pageants in past and was  adjudged Miss Thane Best Catwalk. So as far as grooming goes I have good experience. Rest is all about confidence and I am confident about doing well.

Tell us about your modelling journey. How did it happen?

I am an NCC Cadet. I had no interest in modeling and acting initially. When I was in senior college it was my maam who suggested me to take part in beauty contest and try modeling. She told me I had the height and looks to make the cut. I didn’t take it too seriously as my focus was towards becoming an officer. However my maam was insistent and I took part in the college contest. I thought to myself it is all about walking and I’m not even going to win any crown. But to my surprise I won and that is how my journey in modelling began.

And then acting happened?

Yes it was quite organic. Along with modelling my interest in acting also grew. I did commercial theatre and trained myself there. I have also done a Marathi film – Marathi Pavool Padate Pudhe with Chirag Patil as second lead. Recently I was featured in a dance number of Telugu film Bheemla Nayak starring megastar Pawan Kalyan.

You are an avid dancer. Tell us about your passion for dance. Have you professionally trained in any dance forms?

I am not a professionally trained dancer but I can dance well. I have alwasy been interested in dance and blessed to have a natural talent for it. I have done dance workshops to finetune my skills.

Why do you consider Madhuri Dixit as you idol. How was the experience of meeting her?

I have been a Madhuri dixit fan ever since I was 10 years old. I am lucky to have met her in person and I just couldn’t forget how warm she was despite being such a huge celebrity. She is very beautiful, graceful and classy

You are quite fit as well. What is your fitness mantra?

I am a fitness enthusiast. I believe health is your only real wealth. I regularly workout for two hours. Apart from exercise, I also watch my diet and eat healthy food.

Going forward what kind of films would you like to do?

I like Marathi films a lot. So my focus is going to Marathi films. I am also attracted towards South films. I want to try there as well.

Lastly, tell us one actor you would like to romance onscreen. Who would that be and why?

Vijay Deverakonda. I am a big fan.
