This point is CHANDLO, a spot on our forehead where we think our fates are written. Two lonely women both at a different age in life are  looking for love. But pretending to be happy and independent, share a wonderful bond as mom-in-law, and daughter-in-law. This film talks about how women understand and support each other emotionally to move on and lead a better life. The story projects strong familial bonds with a new-age mindset. It’s a beautiful love story,  a story of a woman’s desire to be loved and the wish to be accepted as a woman after fulfilling all her duties and roles.”

Manav Gohil shared “I have worked with Kaajal ji before and her stories are empowering and they resonate deeply. Being part of ‘Chandlo’ has been a privilege, the cast and the narrative both have been exemplary. The film explores the complexities of relationships and the impact they have on our lives, and I’m excited for audiences to experience this emotional journey on a huge platform like JioCinema.”

The mother-in-law-daughter-in-law relationship is often depicted in a negative light, influenced by cultural stereotypes and societal expectations. Some perceive this relationship as a constant battle, fraught with tension and conflicts. “Chandlo” serves as a beautiful example, portraying the unique dynamics between a mother-in-law and daughter-in-law with love and understanding. Through this film, we aim to portray strong and independent women who navigate life’s challenges with grace and resilience. It’s a tribute to their spirit and the love they bring to their families,” says Shraddha Dangar.

Embark on an unforgettable cinematic experience that celebrates the power of love, compassion, and family bonds. With its poignant storytelling, stellar performances, and a relatable narrative, the film promises to leave an indelible impact on the hearts and minds of viewers.
