Gadar 2 Box Office Collection Day 1: Sunny Deol-Ameesha Patel Starrer Storms Theatres

Gadar 2 depicts the lives of Tara Singh (Sunny Deol) and Sakeena (Ameesha Patel) in the midst of the 1971 India-Pakistan conflict. Gadar: Ek Prem Katha was released 23 years after. On its first day of release, Gadar 2 displayed an astounding performance at the domestic box office. This film is directed by Anil Sharma. Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, and Utkarsh Sharma play the lead roles in Gadar 2. Early estimates indicate that Gadar 2 made 40 crore net in India on its opening day. On Friday, Gadar 2 had a 60.81 percent occupancy rate in Hindi overall. The romantic-action drama Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, which is set during the partition of India, was followed by Gadar 2 23 years later. When it was released in 2001, it made box office history. In the midst of the turbulent Crush India Movement of 1971, Gadar 2 highlighted Tara Singh’s (Sunny Deol) and Sakeena’s (Ameesha Patel) legacy. Additionally, it featured Tara Singh traveling all the way to Pakistan to defend his son Charan Jeet Singh from the Pakistani Army (played by Utkrash Sharma).

Deol had earlier stated to the news agency ANI that “Gadar 2 carries forward the legacy of its iconic first part” when discussing the movie. Being able to resurrect one of India’s most beloved family movies is a blessing. The movie will always be at its core an uplifting epic tale of love, bravery, and patriotism. I hope the world will embrace Sakeena and Tara once more.
