Dhanush’s D51 will feature Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead.

After playing the love interest to Tamil superstar Vijay in ‘Varisu’, pretty actress Rashmika Mandanna is all set to play ladylove to another Tamil star Dhanush in his next film directed by Sekhar Kammula. Rashmika Mandanna and Dhansuh will be cast together in a movie for the first time, according to media reports. Sekhar Kammula is helming a pan-Indian movie, featuring Dhanush. Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil versions of the untitled movie will start filming. The producers today announced that Rashmika Mandanna has joined their project and confirmed her name. “Sekhar Kammula is known for his exceptional films and has again penned a unique subject to present Dhanush in a never-before-seen role,” claim makers. The makers are also in talks with some very big names to be a part of this project. The details of the other cast and technical crew will be announced soon, added makers.

The film is produced by Sunil Narang and Ram Mohan Rao. Rashmika Mandanna is currently starring in ‘Pushpa 2’, another pan-Indian film.She just dropped out of Nithiin’s film to work on Sekhar Kammula’s film with Dhanush.
