Jaane Jaan Trailer Review

The recently announced “Jaane Jaan” would mark Kareena Kapoor’s OTT debut. Sujoy Ghosh is directing the film which appears to be a murder mystery at first glance. The Devotion of Suspect X, a best-selling novel by Japanese author Higashino Keigo, is the basis for the movie. In addition to Kareena Kapoor, the movie also stars Vijay Varma as a cop and Jaideep Ahlawat as Kareena’s quiet neighbor. This film has everything- a love story, budding attraction, criminal investigation and massive plotting
The sad tale of a single mother who must deal with her ex-husband’s return can be seen in the Jaane Jaan trailer. She manages to get rid of him but then finds herself in another predicament since Vijay Varma is now searching for him and she is his prime suspect. She is now compelled to use Vijay’s persona to lure her into staying out of danger. How will she escape this situation and will she be able to keep ahead of this investigation? We will need to wait and watch.
The novel has been adapted numerous times including in Japan as “Suspect X” (2008), in Korea as “Perfect Number” (2012) and in China as “The Devotion of Suspect X” (2017). A Hollywood version is in development.
