Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani gets selected to screened at Busan International Film Festival 2023

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, has been chosen for the 28th Busan International Film Festival. The film directed by Karan Johar will be screened at the Open Cinema section.

On Tuesday, Karan Johar took to Instagram stories and wrote, “feeling absolutely blessed & grateful #RockyAurRaniKiPremKahaani goes to @busanfilmfest.” Alia Bhatt, too shared on Instagram stories and penned, “Another chapter added to our kahaani.” The 28th Busan International Film Festival will be place in Haeundae in Busan, South Korea, for the uninitiated. After their 2019 smash Gully Boy, this is the second movie starring Alia and Ranveer to be shown at the festival. From October 4 to October 13, the famous film festival will be held.

After a seven-year absence, Karan Johar returned to filmmaking with Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. In addition to Jaya Bachchan and Dharmendra, the movie also features Shabana Azmi. At the box office, the movie was well received by the crowd. A collection of “new and critically acclaimed films that offer an ideal mix of the popular with the artistic” cinema will be shown during the “Open Cinema” section of the film gala. The romance drama, which released in India in July and made over Rs 300 crore at the box office, will be featured in this section.

“Joram,” starring Manoj Bajpayee, and “Agra,” directed by Kanu Behl, will be shown as part of the “A Window on Asian Cinema” program, which highlights Asian cinema “from well-established directors as well as the upcoming rookies of the industry.”
