Akshay Kumar unveiled the Mission Raniganj motion poster, replaced India with Bharat

The upcoming movie starring Akshay Kumar has an intriguing “Bharat” connection. The actor released the Mission Raniganj motion poster on Wednesday, but the internet quickly spotted a few changed allusions to “Bharat” in his Instagram post. ‘The Great Bharat Rescue’ took the place of “The Great Indian Rescue.” This transition occurs as the nation debates whether or not to formally rename India as Bharat.

Not only this, but an Instagram user noted that Akshay’s original caption read:  “Watch the story of India’s true hero…” But it was soon edited to “Bharat’s true hero.” The comment read, “Great Indian rescue ko toh Great Bharat Rescue kar diya par caption mein phir bhi *India’s* likh diya (He changed Great Indian Rescue to Great Bharat Rescue but the caption still says ‘India’s’).” The user then replied to his own comment, “haha kiya change abhi (haha he changed it just now).” Parineeti Chopra also features in the rescue drama, directed by Rustom filmmaker Tinu Suresh Desai, and made by Vashu and Jackky Bhagnani’s Pooja Entertainment. The movie is scheduled to open in theaters on October 6; the teaser is all set to release today.

The Bharat vs. India debate began when President Draupadi Murmu sent official dinner invitations to heads of state and chief ministers during the G20 Summit in New Delhi, which sparked a controversy because the word “India” was changed to “Bharat.”
