Mission Raniganj Teaser

The movie Mission Raniganj, which is being directed by Tinu Suresh Desai, was motivated by the heroic deeds of Late Shri Jaswant Singh Gill, who oversaw a rescue operation at the Raniganj Coalfield. Gill, an Amritsar local, won various honors for his gallantry. The movie is based on a true story and Gill’s brave deed. Unfortunately, he passed away in 2019 at the age of 80.

On Thursday night, Akshay Kumar took to Instagram and shared the teaser. He wrote, “In 1989, one man showed courage and conviction that saved lives! #MissionRaniganjTeaser out now. Watch the story of Bharat’s true hero with #MissionRaniganj in cinemas on 6th October.” The teaser starts with Akshay Kumar, who plays the Late Jaswant Singh Gill, who wants to rescue coal miners trapped inside a 350-foot-deep coal mine. The trailer also offers us a glimpse of Parineeti Chopra as well, who would be seen on screen with Akshay Kumar after Kesari.

Kumud Mishra, Pavan Malhotra, Ravi Koshan, Varun Badola, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Rajesh Sharma, Virendra Saxena, Shishir Sharma, Ananth Mahadevan, and other actors also appear in Mission Raniganj. On October 6, the movie will be released in theaters, competing alongside Bhumi Pednekar, Shehnaaz Gill, Kusha Kapila, Dolly Singh, and Shibani Bedi’s Thank You for Coming.
