Gadar 2 box office collection day 30: Film becomes 2nd highest-grossing Hindi movie in India, beats Baahubali 2

Box office collection for Gadar 2 have surpassed those of SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, which released in theaters on August 11. According to estimates, the movie overtook Baahubali 2 to become the second-highest grossing Hindi movie. It is currently lagging Pathaan. Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, and Utkarsh Sharma were the main characters in the Anil Sharma-directed film Gadar 2.

As per reports, Gadar 2 made 1.45 crore net in India on its 30th day. Gadar 2 made 284.63 crore in its first week, 134.47 crore in its second week, and 63.35 crore in its third. The movie made 90 lakh on its fifth Friday. The movie has brought in 512.35 crores overall. Both Pathaan and Baahubali 2 (Hindi), which released in January of this year and earned 510.99 and 524.62 crore, respectively, in India. Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Dimple Kapadia, and Ashutosh Rana were among the cast members of Siddharth Anand’s Pathaan. Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Ramya Krishna were among the actors who starred in Baahubali 2.

A few weeks ago, the team of Gadar 2 held a press conference after the film’s success. Sunny talked about how he initially reacted seeing the audience’s love for Gadar 2. Sunny had said, “I was quite stressed before the release of the movie. When the movie was released, I cried and laughed the entire night. My father was around and he saw me. I told him, ‘I have not had alcohol. Main khush aa main ki kara (I am happy, what can I do)’.”

Gadar 2 made 40 crore on its first day of release. The 2001 box office sensation Gadar: Ek Prem Katha was followed up with a sequel. In the film, Sunny Deol plays truck driver Tara Singh in the movie, and Ameesha Patel plays Sakeena.
