Sara Ali Khan And Varun Dhawan begin shooting in Bangkok, for Coolie No. 1 remake

The duo Sara Ali Khan and Varun Dhawan will share the screen space first time ever. The much awaited film directed by Varun Dhawan begins shooting today in Bangkok, Thailand.

The writer of the remake Farhad Samji shared a video on his instagram indicating the start of the shoot. The caption under the video says, “1st day shoot of Coolie No.1.” He is seen displaying Coolie No.1 badge and giving a thumbs up.

A day before Varun posted a video of himself preparing for the shoot adding various filters amd sound effects. He captioned it as, “Do not take life so seriously. You will never get out of it alive- Elbert Hubbart. N joy karo bhai leaving for Coolie No.1

The original Coolie No. 1 was released in the year 1995 directed by David Dhawan, starring Govinda and Karisma Kapoor as the main lead. Talking about Coolie No 1 remake David Dhawan had stated that Coolie No 1 is not exactly a remake of 1995 film but an adaptation. Along with Sara Ali Khan and Varun Dhawan the film also features Johny Lever and Paresh Rawal. It is set to hit the screen on May 1, 2020.
