With billions of Bhaijaan fans around the world waiting every year for his Eid release. Salman Khan’s ‘Radhe: The Most Wanted Bhai’ is all set to go air on the OTT platform Zee5. This news has left all Bhaijaan fans sad and disappointed as the film now won’t be released in theaters as they remain firmly shut in many states because of the current pandemic that has gripped India.

With a heavy heart but keeping his fans updated of the reason why the movie is releasing on ZeePlex, the Radhe actor said, “I couldn’t have kept my Eid commitment with fans without the support of ZEE. It was important to release the film at a time like this because people are suffering due to the pandemic. Incomes have reduced for many.” Bhaijaan also said that instead of spending a lot of money on tickets at the cinemas, people can watch it at a much cheaper rate at home. “I want to provide some entertainment to people at a grim time like this” said Salman.

Keeping in mind the major loss that the theaters are going to face with the movie going OTT this Eid, Mega star Salman Khan who is also the co-producer of the film said, “I apologise to cinema owners who were hoping to earn profits with the release of this film. We waited as long as we could, hoping that this pandemic would end and we would be able to release in theatres all over the country. But that did not happen. We don’t know when things will go back to normal.”

Salman khan who was recently seen donating meal kits to Covid -19 warriors has also pledged along with Zee productions to donate the revenue generated from the film to the ‘Give india foundation’ to fight Covid.
