Salman’s 300cr movie collection comes down to ZERO this pandemic

Due to the ongoing pandemic, most theatres in India today have downed their shutters. People’s hopes were raised when theatres had briefly opened in November 2020 but ever since the second wave of Covid swept India from March 2021, it has been curtains down for theaters shut in many states. It strained movie lovers and especially salman khan’s fans as radhe will not be released in all theaters. It’s the 2nd time a Salman’s movie could not be released on Eid in theaters. This has given a major distress to Salman’s fans. This also means the collections of Radhe will be severly affected. Unlike Salman’s earlier movies like Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Tiger Zinda Hai and Sultan which had grossed 300crores, Radhe will not enjoy a similar run. While it is not yet clear how many theatre screens Radhe wil be released on, the movie will have its digital premiere on ZeePlex.

Salman khan when asked about radhe’s release said, “The box office collection of Radhe will be zero, this will be the lowest ever for a Salman Khan film. Let people be happy or sad with that. It is releasing in very few cinemas in India, overseas also the number of theatres are less than usual. So the box office collection will be very poor. I know people are disappointed that they will not be able to watch Radhe on the big screen. Some people have booked auditoriums and are planning to screen my film, which I won’t encourage because I don’t want people to say ‘Salman Khan ki picture dekhne gaye aur corona phail gaya’. Once this pandemic is over and theaters reopen, if people like the film, we will try to release it on the big screen.”
