Gadar 2 Sells 1.37 Lakh Tickets In Advance Booking

Gadar 2’s bookings in advance are soaring high. Directed by Anil Sharma, Gadar 2 has been setting impressive milestones in terms of advance booking figures. According to analyst Taran Adarsh, the movie has already sold 1,37,894 seats for its opening day. Regarding the three national brands PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis, the day has so far seen 1,05,300 bookings for Day 1. He added that single screen characteristics and bulk circuits both have outstanding advance ticket sales.

The developments are spectacular in non-national chains as well; in fact, they are already second best to Pathaan and have a chance to match its overall numbers in non-national single-screen theaters and multiplexes. With this kind of advance, Gadar 2 has a guaranteed Rs. 20 crore or more opening weekend. Now, we have to see if the movie maintains its pace during the week and earns a Rs. 30 crore or more first day, making it one of the greatest non-holiday opening weekends ever. Fans are anticipating the long-awaited sequel Gadar 2 since it features the  reunion of Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel after 22 years. Already, predictions have been made that it will be a blockbuster like its predecessor.

Helmed by Anil Sharma, Gadar stars Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma in the lead roles. Gadar 2 is set to release on 11 August.
