Gadar 2 records 6 consecutive Rs 30 crore plus days

Anil Sharma’s Gadar 2: The Katha Continues, starring Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, Utkarsh Sharma, Manish Wadhwa, and others, has been on a tear at the box office for the past six days. The movie accomplished a rare achievement by earning more than Rs 30 crores net over the course of six days, surpassing Sultan and Pathaan, the two movies that had previously done so over the course of five days. The movie won’t be able to continue its streak now that the holiday season is over, but what it has already accomplished is, to put it simply, extraordinary.

It’s not surprising that Gadar 2, which earned excellent reviews and overwhelmingly favorable audience feedback, has continued to bring in well over Rs. 30 crore every single day. The movie made an additional Rs. 43.08 cr. and Rs. 51.70 cr. on its first Saturday and Sunday after debuting with a take of Rs. 40.10 cr. Gadar 2 continued to perform well on its debut Monday, with sales of Rs. 38.70 crore declining only 5%. But on Tuesday, the Independence Day holiday helped the movie earn a whopping Rs. 55.40 crore, pushing it beyond the Rs. 200 crore threshold. On Wednesday, the movie brought in an additional Rs. 32.37 crore, continuing its box office success.

According to industry predictions, the Gadar 2 craze is still raging across the country as the mass-dominant belt continues to flock to the movie in huge numbers. According to current early projections, Gadar 2 may wind up close to the Rs. 300 cr. threshold by the end of its first week of operation.
