Sunny Deol refutes rumours of him signing up for Border 2

Despite rumors that Sunny Deol will appear in Border 2, the actor has officially confirmed that he has not signed on to any new projects. He is now enjoying Gadar 2’s success. Sunny did however add that he would shortly make a big announcement.  A source informed a media outlet that “The team has been discussing the probability of making a Border sequel for the last 2 to 3 years and everything has now finally fallen into place as the team is all set to make an official announcement about Border 2 in a fortnight.” However, there was no confirmation about the same from any production house and no official announcement has been made until now.

After false news reports about Border 2 surfaced online, Sunny shared a note on Instagram Stories on Saturday. It read: “Some news has been circulating of me signing a few films, I would like to inform that currently I am only concentrating on Gadar 2 and receiving all your love. I have not signed any film and would be announcing something special soon at the right time. Till then keep showering your love on Tara Singh and Gadar2.”

Currently Gadar 2 is taking over theaters in India as well as worldwide. Starring Ameesh Patel, Utkarsh Sharma, Manish Wadhwa, Gaurav Chopra, Rakesh Bedi and others, the film is directed by Anil Sharma.
