When Dishank Arora Got Mobbed By Ranbir Kapoor Fans
One of Hindi television’s most loved actor Dishank is all set to step his foot in Bollywood film industry in the role of a Cop in the upcoming murder mystery ‘Missing On A Weekend’.
He recalls an incident when he was confused for Ranbir Kapoor. The actor has an uncanny resemblance with Rishi Kapoor’s son, especially with the full beard look that both the actors are currently sporting.
Apparently, Dishank was traveling to Malaysia for an ad shoot at the same time when IIFA awards were commencing in the country. The buzz about Bollywood stars being in the country was high. For his airport look, Dishank was sporting glares and a cap which also happens to be Ranbir Kapoor’s style. Spotting him making an exit from the airport and entering Malaysia, the security bouncer announced on the walkie that ‘Ranbir Kapoor has arrived’ when it actually was Dishank. The media & fans went bonkers only to find out it actually wasn’t Ranbir Kapoor. Not just that, when the actor was on a break from the ad shoot, he had stepped out for a coffee at a local cafe and given the craze for Bollywood actors & films worldwide, a group of Bollywood Malay fans spotted the actor & shouted out ‘Ranbir Kapoor’ pointing out at him. It was only when they got closer & realized, it was not Ranbir.
Directed by Abhishek Jawkar, this Dishank starrer film ‘Missing On A Weekend’ also features Singer Hariharan’s son Karan among other actors. The film is set to release on 1st July.
