Helping Hands Presented Its Spring Summer Exhibition Cum Fundraiser

“Helping Hands” that was founded with a vision to support kids who are Cancer patients at The Tata Memorial Hospital, organized its bi -annual fundraiser cum exhibition by bringing the best lifestyle labels and more under one roof on Wednesday, 29th March 2017 at the St. Regis Hotel, Lower Parel, Level 8, Mumbai. 

Hosted by Madhavi Goenka, Priya Vazirani, Meghna Patel and Vandana Malik the shoppers were able to visit a variety of stalls set up by leading lifestyle designers and brands with their collections ranging from ethnic wear, pret and western attire to contemporary accessories, footwear, home decor and gifting solutions.

Renowned names like Monisha Jaising, Farah Ali Khan, Intrika,  Seema Khan, Juttis by Shilpsutra , LoveGen by Dolly Sidhwani, Bhavana Pandey and Nandita Mahtani,  Shriya Som, Kanika Kapoor, Shyam Narayan Prasad, Archana Rao, Nandita Mahtani, Pramita Goenka,  Babita Malkani, Petricor by Rishi Raj, The Bohemian by Mitaali Vohra, Radhika Seksaria, Vasundhara Fine Jewellery, Zehra Noorani, Ramona Narang, Food by Sage and Saffron : Aditi Duggar  and others showcased their creations at the fundraiser.

Actor Imran Khan (who has supported the Helping Hands since its inception) along with Farah Khan Ali, Monisha Jaising ,  Seema Khan , Nandita Mahtani , Bhavana Pandey etc stepped up to give the fundraiser a personal touch with the kids from Tata Memorial having a fun afternoon out. Imran Khan was a huge hit with the kids. 

Lending their support were celebrity guests such as Avanti Birla, Simone Arora, Priyanka Thakur, Laila Khan, Zeba Kohli, Aminder Madan, Priya Bhimani, Rajyalakshmi Rao, Ananya Goenka, Saba Ali Khan, ReenaWadhwa, Pooja Wadhawan, Pooja Piramal, Archana Walavalkar, Malti Jain, Palak Sheth, Mitaali Vohra, Amy Billimoria, Priya Shah, Roshni Damania, Manisha Vaghani, Manali Vengsarkar and more.

Said brand ambassador and an ardent supporter of the NGO, Imran Khan,” I am thrilled to continue my association with Helping Hands. Their work over the past few years has directly impacted the lives of thousands of children and their families, allowing them to get treatment in a situation where many would have dropped out. I’m very excited about the response to the fundraiser and hope this goes towards the  aid offered by the  Survivor and the  Bereavement Project. !”

Said Farah Khan Ali an ardent supporter and participant,” I am delighted  to be a part of Helping Hands. This is a genuine effort in aid of a noble cause which goes beyond just shopping. The exhibit that I am  doing for Helping Hand Foundation is my way to help to uplift the lives of the kids undergoing treatment and to thus contribute towards giving them tools to survive the dreaded Cancer”

“I pledge my support to Helping Hands, the team who is working so diligently with the Tata Memorial Hospital for the kids undergoing treatment for cancer at a subsidised rate. The Accommodation project is for those who are forced to live on the streets whilst combating this dreaded disease. “The binding factor amidst all participants at the HHF fundraiser is the underlined desire to contribute towards the larger cause i.e. The Accommodation project to support children with Cancer and then helping them stay Cancer Free via the Survivor Project” added Madhavi Goenka.
