Punjabi singer Guru Randhawa assaulted by an unidentified person in Canada

Guru Randhawa is known for his tracks Suit Suit karda, High Rated Gabru and Lahore. The singer who is touring across US for his concert, was attacked by an unidetified individual from the audience after a show in Vancouver, Canada.

The punjabi singer was assaulted on the head from behind as he just got out after completing the concert from Queen Elizabeth theatre.
According to Tribune Jalandhar, “Guru Randhwa was attacked on the head from behind as he tried to exit Queen Elizabeth Theatre, he has survived the assault and is out of danger.” The attacker is yet to be identified.

Fellow Punjabi singer Preet has come forward in support of Guru, as he shared Guru Randhwa’s image after the attack, followed by a small note in Punjabi saying, That he know’s Guru since a long time, and he is a geuine guy. Always respect others. But this is a very bad thing. I don’t understand what the society is turning into.

Guru Randhawa had recenlty launched Slowly Slowly in collaboration with international singer Pitbull which has been released in 3 languages Spanish, Punjabi and English. The singer is extremely loved and adored in the Punjabi community.
