Sooryavanshi trailer review – An action packed affair

By:Hrushikesh Takbhate
The trailer of Sooryavanshi was launched on Monday, 2nd March in the presence of the entie cast and crew. And as expected the trailer turned out to be an action packed affair full of stunts, hand to hand combat and car chases. The trailer begins with Ajay Devgan narrating how Mumbai has been scarred in 1993, 2002, 2008 by terror attacks but states stating that the biggest of them all is yet to be unleashed on Mumbai and the responsiblity of stopping the same is on Akshay Kumar head of Anti-terrorism squad who plays DCP Veer Sooryavanshi. Jackie Shroff is introduced as the villain who has been planning to exact revenge from India. The look of Jackie Shroff as villain is breath-taking and will surely impress the audience.
The trailer bears the usual Rohit Shetty style action replete with car and helicopter stunts. As the movie is based on Anti-terrorism operation, one will also get to see a lot of heavy gun firing and bomb blasts in the movie. The trailer comes across as pretty intense at the start but turns slightly funny with the introduction of Ranveer Singh (Simba) and Ajay Devgan (Singham) both of whom have extended cameos in the film. With light humor, action, emotion, and drama, Sooryavanshi looks all set to entertain audience.
The movie will open in theatres across India on March 24, 2020.
