First look of Prabhas from Project K was unveiled on Wednesday. It was posted on the official instagram handle of Vyjayanthi Movies. The tweet along with his first look read, “The Hero rises. From now, the Game changes (fire emoticon). This is Rebel Star Prabhas from Project K. First glimpse on July 20 (USA) and July 21 (INDIA).” Project K is set to become the first-ever Indian film to debut at the San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) 2023. Many netizens felt that the first look didn’t meet their expectations, leading to disappointment among fans. As a result, the makers decided to delete the tweet and poster everywhere, and instead, they released a new version of the poster.
It has a dystopian and futuristic setting. Prabhas is seen with long hair, metallic suit, and looking right into the camera. Earlier, the film’s producer Aswani Dutt said that the film is about the reincarnation of the Hindu god Vishnu, who protects the world from evil. Apart from Prabhas and Deepika Padukone, the biggie also features the stalwarts Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Hassan in crucial roles.
One fan wrote, “From pan India Star to Pan world The rise of the biggest superstar hero” while another one wrote “What a poster master Marvel and DC”. However, a few users criticised Prabhas’ poster. One user commented “ Fan-made edit ah”. The stage is all set for the grand launch of the first look glimpse of Prabhas and Deepika Padukone’s highly-anticipated sci-fi thriller, Project K. It’s been reported earlier that the much-awaited first look will be unveiled at the San Diego Comic-Con July 20.
