Veere Di Wedding 2 confirmed: To be shot next year

Veere di Wedding released in the year 2018. It starred Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania. Now a latest buzz suggests that the makers are planning a sequel. According to reports, the final draft of the script will most likely be locked within the next few months. Following that, the makers will finalise the cast and crew. A source reported that, “Veere Di Wedding is a very special project for the makers, and they have already set the ball rolling for the sequel. So Veere Di Wedding 2 is definitely being made, and the idea and concept has already been locked. However, the script is still being written, and the final draft should be ready in a few months. Once that is done, they will start looking at the casting and other logistics. The movie will roll next year.” In 2020, Rhea had confirmed that the 2018 hit Veere Di Wedding will indeed return for a sequel. “I think it’s going to happen actually. It might happen sooner than I thought it would happen. But things look good. I am excited,” she had said during an interactive session with fans on Instagram. Although the cast for Veere Di Wedding 2 has not been finalised yet, fans are hoping for the same actors to return. In an interview, Sonam mentioned that she is in no rush to return to work and will take her time. Additionally, Swara is also expecting a baby in the near future.
