Jawan sold to Netlix for OTT streaming

The Atlee film Jawan, which Shah Rukh Khan produced, brought back crowded theaters and a wonderful cinematic experience. Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, Vijay Sethupathi, and other celebrities are also included in the movie. Even throughout the week, while less so than on weekends, Shah Rukh Khan’s latest film is doing phenomenally well. The domestic box office performance of Jawan is excellent, with the movie closing in on the Rs 350 crore milestone. The movie is soon to join the Rs 500 crore club. The SRK movie’s streaming rights have already been sold by the producers.

Everyone had been speculating as to which OTT platform will secure the rights to stream Jawan. Leading OTT platforms include Netflix, Disney Plus, Hotstar, Amazon Prime, and others. Additionally, Netflix and the creators of Jawan have reached a “deal”. Amazon Prime has the streaming rights to Pathaan. Additionally, viewers would have assumed that the same platform would receive the streaming rights to Jawan.

According to a report, the rights were bought for a staggering Rs 250 crores. The streaming rights to the Pathaan film, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham, were sold for Rs 100 crores. With a huge sum, Jawan is in the lead in the streaming business transaction. That is the hype around the superstar’s most recent album.

According to a source in the entertainment news, Jawan may be available on Netflix 40 to 65 days after it opens in theaters. It is preferable to wait for official confirmation of the same, nevertheless. On April 25, Pathaan was made available on OTT. One of the biggest films of 2023 and a classic of Hindi cinema was released about three months later.
