The trailer of Peddi turns out to be quite average overall. While the visuals and scale look decent in parts, there’s very little in the promo that actually feels fresh or exciting. The biggest positive is clearly Ram Charan, who brings solid screen presence and intensity. He looks impressive throughout and carries the trailer on his shoulders.
Janhvi Kapoor also looks beautiful and adds glamour to the visuals, though the trailer doesn’t give her much to do beyond that.
The major disappointment is the dialogue writing. Most of the punch lines feel outdated, loud and unintentionally weak instead of impactful. The background score too doesn’t elevate the moments as much as expected.
At the moment, the trailer feels more style than substance.
